Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Team Members to join our dynamic food service team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop skills in food preparation, customer service, and restaurant operations within a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates will have a passion for the food industry and a commitment to providing excellent service to our guests. Prior restaurant experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided to ensure success in your role. Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and payments
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and ensuring guest satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, adhering to food safety standards
- Assist in food presentation and upselling menu items to enhance guest experience
- Follow proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols at all times
- Support team members during peak hours by managing multiple tasks efficiently
- Ensure timely delivery of orders while maintaining high standards of quality
Skills
- Experience in food preparation, food service, or restaurant operations preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for efficient transaction processing
- Strong time management skills to handle busy service periods effectively
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order calculations
- Ability to work well in a team environment with good communication skills
- Kitchen experience or prior food industry background is a plus
- Upselling techniques to promote menu items and increase sales
