Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of nail treatments such as manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and creativity
- Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by thoroughly cleaning tools and workstations to ensure client safety and hygiene
- Offer personalized consultations to understand client preferences and recommend suitable nail care options or retail products
- Engage clients with friendly communication, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable throughout their appointment
- Upsell additional services or retail products to enhance client satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized workspace that adheres to health and safety regulations
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, managing appointments efficiently, and fostering a positive salon atmosphere
Experience
- Proven experience as a Nail Technician or similar role within a beauty or spa environment
- Strong knowledge of nail care techniques, current trends, and best sanitation practices
- Excellent communication skills to connect with diverse clients and understand their needs
- Ability to perform body waxing services is a plus but not required; training can be provided for interested candidates
- Demonstrated ability to upsell retail products confidently while maintaining genuine customer relationships
- Prior experience in retail sales or customer service is advantageous for success in this role
