Job Summary
Established Law Firm near Downtown Edmonton is seeking a professional and organized Receptionist/Administrator to join our team.
This role is essential in providing exceptional support to assist with the daily functioning of our office, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring smooth daily operations. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, excellent customer service abilities, and proficiency with various software tools utilized by our firm. Experience in an office setting is a plus. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic office environment while utilizing your communication, clerical and organizational expertise.
Responsibilities
- Greet visitors and clients with professionalism and courtesy at the front desk
- Manage multi-line phone systems, directing calls efficiently and courteously
- Handle data entry, file administration, and document management using Microsoft Office, Zoom, Teams, and other relevant software
- Schedule consultation appointments
- Assist with billing tasks as needed
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and supporting client needs in a courteous and professional manner
- Perform administrative duties such as proofreading documents, managing correspondence, and organizing files
- Support office operations by coordinating supplies, and performing general clerical tasks as needed
Requirements
- Experience in an office setting is preferred
- Exceptional customer service skills with professional phone etiquette for handling multi-line phone systems
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage workflows effectively
- Prior experience in a legal office is advantageous but not required
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively with team members
