Position: Industrial Electrician
Located: Hamilton, ON
Shift: rotating 12-hour continental shifts, every other weekend off
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have - Licensed Industrial Electrician in the Province of Ontario with 1-3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment (442 industrial electrician’s License).
- Able to read and interpret electrical schematic.
- Experienced with electrical automation, loop controls, sensors, etc.
- Can run electrical circuits for various pieces of machinery, including electrical panels.
- Able to create simple ladder diagrams and single circuit diagrams.
- Familiar with the Electrical Code, ESA regulations, and H&S regulations.
- Good troubleshooting skills.
- Work independently with little to no supervision.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Millwright experience is an asset.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot production equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections.
- Follow policies and procedures and work within industry guidelines.
- Abilities to use power tools, hand tools when needed.
- Promptly respond to equipment related issues.
- Other duties as assigned by managers.
