We have an exciting NEW job opportunity within our Calgary employment support programs that will collaborate with our Retail program. As the Customer Service Representative you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the retail store, ensuring the store is welcoming, accessible, and consistently open during mall hours. The Customer Service Representative engages directly with clients, providing guidance and opportunities for hands-on learning in customer service, point of sale systems, merchandising and inventory support. Customer Service Representatives ensure clients receive the service and assistance they require, while upholding Prospect’s mission and standards.
- What Always providing exceptional customer service in a variety of situations
- Learn about our products and provide accurate information about their features and pricing to customers
- Hanging, displaying and merchandising new stock in the retail store
- Pulling and rotating merchandise as per regular stock rotation schedule
- Processing customer purchases accurately and efficiently
General:
- Diligently works to ensure thorough understanding of all Prospect's programs
- Comply with company policies/procedures, provincial, privacy and other job-related legislation
- Understand and be able to articulate the various employment support programs that Prospect offers
- Champions Prospect’s goals, vision, mission and brand pillars
What does it take to do this job?
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Strong understanding of the retail sales process
- Exceptional communication skills
- Positive attitude and outlook
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Physical ability to remain standing for the majority of a five to eight-hour shift
- Flexibility to work various hours
- Basic math skills
- Knowledge of inventory stocking procedures
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and presentation software; advanced proficiency with internet, online, and social media platforms
- Problem solving and critical thinking skills
Asset:
- Experience in retail, hospitality or food service industry will be an asset
- Interest or background in Art
- Experience of working with individuals with various Mental Health challenges
