4 Seasons Equipment is a locally owned and operated lawn and outdoor power equipment company located in Sherwood Park. We strive to provide our customers with friendly, honest and reliable sales and service.
We are looking for a skilled Small Engine Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with assembly, repair, general servicing and maintenance of 2 and 4 stroke equipment, be familiar with hand tools and equipment, and possess strong troubleshooting & problem solving skills.
A successful applicant will have the ability to work independently, solve problems creatively and communicate effectively with other mechanics. An open positive attitude and the ability to work in a team environment is a must.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair and replace parts for proper performance;
- Advise on work performed & condition of equipment;
- Learn to use and regularly inspect tools, equipment, and machinery;
- Review work orders and discuss work with Shop Manager;
- Converse with clients and staff in a friendly, honest and professional manner;
- Know how to use electrical and mechanical testing equipment
Sub-compact & compact tractors service experience will be considered an asset. Forklift experience is desired but training can be provided for the right candidate.
Must have a valid class 5 license and reliable transportation. Wages are commensurate with demonstrated experience and minimal returned items. Additional education and training will be provided as there is room for growth and development within the organization.
