Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Groundskeeper/Maintenance professional to maintain and enhance the appearance and functionality of outdoor and indoor spaces. This role involves performing landscape maintenance, operating various tools and equipment, and ensuring the safety and aesthetic quality of the property. The ideal candidate will have a passion for horticulture, gardening, and property upkeep, with a strong focus on safety and efficiency.
Duties
- Perform landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, planting, and pruning to keep grounds attractive and healthy.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and irrigation equipment to maintain gardens, lawns, and other outdoor areas.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning seaweed, goose poop, and maintaining pathways.
- Ensure all grounds are safe by inspecting for hazards, removing debris, and maintaining walkways.
Requirements
- Experience with landscape maintenance, gardening, or groundskeeping preferred but not required; training available for motivated candidates.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and irrigation systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of horticulture principles and landscape maintenance techniques is desirable.
- Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform physical tasks outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor including lifting, bending, digging, and standing for extended periods.
