About BrightCore Electrical
BrightCore Electrical works on high-end custom homes, select commercial projects, lighting control, automation, low-voltage systems, generators, security, AV, and complex electrical installations across the GTA.
We are looking for a licensed 309A Electrician who can take on a Foreman / Site Supervisor role and lead small to medium-sized projects with professionalism, organization, and accountability.
This role is suited for someone who can read drawings, plan ahead, coordinate with trades, lead a crew, communicate clearly with the office, and deliver clean, code-compliant work.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise electrical crews on site.
- Read and interpret drawings, specifications, layouts, schedules, and single-line diagrams.
- Plan daily work, coordinate manpower, manage materials, and keep the project moving.
- Perform and supervise rough-in, service installation, panel work, finishing, troubleshooting, repairs, and deficiency completion.
- Work on 200A and 400A residential services, custom homes, commercial projects, lighting control, automation, low-voltage, cameras, security, network, speakers, generators, AV, LED lighting, and control panels.
- Coordinate professionally with builders, site supervisors, consultants, homeowners, designers, other trades, and the BrightCore office.
- Identify site issues, missing information, coordination conflicts, and potential change items early.
- Maintain clean, safe, organized, and professional job sites.
- Follow the Ontario Electrical Safety Code, ESA requirements, drawings, specifications, and BrightCore standards.
- Provide daily updates, site photos, progress reports, and issue reports as required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid 309A Construction and Maintenance Electrician Licence.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a licensed 309A Construction and Maintenance Electrician.
- Proven experience leading crews or running small to medium-sized electrical projects.
- Strong custom residential and/or commercial electrical experience.
- Strong knowledge of the Ontario Electrical Safety Code and ESA requirements.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, electrical drawings, details, schedules, specifications, and single-line diagrams.
- Experience with new installations, troubleshooting, repairs, service upgrades, panels, rough-in, finishing, and deficiency work.
- Experience with 200A and 400A services.
- Experience with lighting control, low-voltage, automation, cameras, security, network, speakers, and LED lighting.
- Lutron and Control4 experience is a strong asset.
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation.
- Own personal tools required.
- Valid Working at Heights, WHMIS, and Worker Health and Safety Awareness in 4 Steps certifications.
