Cross Canada Balloons is seeking a Crew Person to join our hot air balloon team for events and appearances throughout Ontario, primarily in and around the GTA.
Duties include assisting with hot air balloon setup and takedown, helping monitor the balloon during tethered passenger rides, and supporting the pilot during events.
Applicants must:
- Hold a valid Ontario G driver's licence with a clean driving record
- Be comfortable driving a pickup truck with a small trailer
- Be physically capable of assisting with balloon setup, and pack up
- Be reliable, punctual, and able to work outdoors in varying conditions
- Have good communication and people skills
Please note that crew members are required to report to Pickering before scheduled flights and events. Reliable transportation to Pickering is required but not mandatory if you reside in the Pickering/Ajax area.
Work involves early morning starts and is primarily on weekends from June through October.
Compensation is paid on a per-flight/event basis and will be discussed with qualified applicants.
