Job Summary
Looking for a reliable person to assist a young lady with CP on everyday task.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Support clients with daily living activities such as meal preparation, medication administration, and light housekeeping.
- Assist individuals with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.
- Monitor clients' health status and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Engage clients in activities that promote mental stimulation and social interaction.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing routine cleaning tasks.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while providing care.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as assisted living, senior care, or hospice care is preferred.
- Knowledge of patient care techniques, including dementia care and working with individuals with disabilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with caregiving, including heavy lifting and mobility assistance.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
- Certification in CPR/First Aid or willingness to obtain certification is a plus.
