Resorts of Ontario (ROO) is the provincial association representing nearly 100 resorts across Ontario. We advocate for our members, connect resort operators with resources and each other, and promote Ontario as a world-class resort destination. Our work supports the growth, visibility, and success of resort tourism throughout the province.
About the Role
Resorts of Ontario is looking for a Member Services Specialist to support our members, strengthen engagement, and contribute to business development across the organization.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a varied and fast-paced environment. One day you may be supporting invoicing or updating our CRM (HubSpot), and the next you may be connecting with members, coordinating communications, or updating website content. As part of a small but passionate team, you will play a key role in supporting day-to-day operations and helping position Resorts of Ontario as the leading resort referral platform in the province.
Work Arrangement
This is a hybrid position. Candidates should expect a combination of remote work and periodic travel for member site visits and association events across Ontario. Specific hybrid details will be discussed during the interview process.
Key Responsibilities
Administration & Operations
- Support day-to-day office operations, systems, and internal processes
- Assist with financial administration, including liaising with the bookkeeper on invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, and expense tracking
- Experience with QuickBooks, Google Workspace, HubSpot, and AI tools is an asset
- Support marketing team reporting and membership program fulfillment
- Assist the Executive Director with communications, scheduling, and meeting coordination
- Manage email, CRM updates, and monthly reporting requirements
Member Services
- Serve as a primary contact for members, providing support, solutions, and connection
- Maintain and manage the membership CRM, including records, renewals, invoicing follow-ups, and data accuracy
- Develop engagement strategies to strengthen member participation and retention
- Coordinate member communications including newsletters, updates, and outreach campaigns
- Assist with planning and execution of member events and the annual meeting
- Support member site visits and on-the-ground engagement across the province
- Identify and connect with prospective members to share membership benefits
- Conduct market research to support member development and growth
Marketing Support & Visitor Services
- Maintain CRM updates and data integrity
- Support internal and external communications (e-blasts, newsletters, and B2B social content)
- Assist with membership portal management
- Support the team at events including the Season Summit, board meetings, and other industry gatherings
- Respond to member inquiries via email and chat in a professional and supportive manner
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in business administration, communications, tourism, or a related field
- 3–5+ years of experience in member services, business development, office administration, or a related role
- Strong communication skills with the ability to support member relations and marketing program delivery
- Experience with Google Workspace, CRM systems (HubSpot an asset), and digital tools; AI and marketing experience in the hospitality sector is an asset
- Excellent relationship-building, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
- Passion for hospitality and understanding of the tourism sector
- Comfortable working within a small, collaborative, and nimble team environment
- Experience in nonprofit association or tourism organizations considered an asset

Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
