The ideal candidate has high ethical standards, established clinical skill, attention to administrative detail, and the ability to build/manage their practice caseload.
About the Role
We are seeking a Registered Psychotherapist, Social Worker, or RN Psychotherapist to join our Ottawa team as an Associate Therapist. This is a contractor position with the intention of building to full-time hours. This is an in-person position with the ability to offer virtual services in addition.
This role is ideal for a therapist who is looking for the autonomy of private practice with the support, community, and infrastructure of a group practice. The role includes access to furnished office space, use of the Jane online platform, advertising and marketing, referrals, team meetings, parking, email, peer support, clinic administrative support, and peer connection.
Core Responsibilities
- Provide individual, couple, and/or family therapy in accordance with your regulatory body's guidelines
- Maintain clinical documentation and manage client files
- Schedule/reschedule client appointments
- Manage your schedule using Jane software (training provided if needed)
- Communicate with clients as needed
- Maintain active registration and insurance
- Participate in team communication and monthly meetings
- Uphold the ethical and professional standards of your college

Requirements
- Registered and in good standing with CRPO, OCSWSSW, or CNO
- The Ideal Candidate will offer EMDR or an equivalent trauma-specific modality (preferred)
- Trauma-informed approach; Training in Trauma; openness to various modalities (e.g., CBT, EFT, EMDR, etc.)
- Comfortable working with a range of presenting issues
- Able to offer a range of availability, including daytime, evening, and/or weekend hours
- Minimum of 15 client sessions per week
- Professional liability insurance
- Clear criminal record check
- Able to start working with us in May or early June 2026
Compensation
- Based on a fee-split model
- Typical compensation ranges from $99 – $135 per client session, depending on experience and format (in-person/virtual)
