We are seeking an exceptional Maître d' | Floor Manager to become the face of our dining room. You will lead our front-of-house team during service, ensuring every guest receives a memorable experience while maintaining the pace, professionalism, and attention to detail that define Chambar. Whether welcoming a first-time visitor, recognizing a returning regular, guiding your team through a busy service, or turning a challenging situation into a lasting impression, you lead with confidence, humility, and generosity.

Duties
- Supervise and coordinate all front-of-house activities to ensure seamless service delivery in a fine dining setting
- Lead staff training and development initiatives to enhance team performance and customer satisfaction
- Manage shift schedules, monitor food preparation processes, and oversee food handling procedures to uphold safety standards
- Oversee inventory control, including ordering supplies, managing stock levels, and minimizing waste through effective food management practices
- Operate POS systems for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards across the restaurant
- Assist in interviewing and hiring new team members while fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth
- FOH Staff training and team leadership in hospitality
Requirements
- Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within a fine dining environment
- Familiarity with POS, Reservation and Scheduling systems for efficient transaction processing and labour cost controls
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in staff training, team management, and shift supervision
- Excellent hospitality and customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns promptly and professionally
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and high standards of hospitality
