We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor to lead our team in a dynamic work environment. As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring project completion, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of team members engaged in construction and maintenance tasks.
- Ensure that all work is performed according to safety regulations and company policies.
- Provide hands-on support with tasks such as insulation, drywall installation, and taping repairs.
- Read and interpret blueprints to guide project execution effectively.
- Train new trades on best practices and safety protocols.
- Monitor project progress and address any issues that arise during the work process.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring they are available for team use.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the construction or maintenance field.
- Strong skills in maintenance person tasks including carpentry, drywall work, caulking, and construction painting.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate team members effectively.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills to interact with team members and management effectively.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor as required by the job duties.
