Carrington Dental Clinic is seeking an experienced and motivated Lead Registered Dental Assistant to join our growing team.
This is a unique opportunity for a senior RDA who enjoys mentoring others, building systems, and leading by example while remaining actively involved in patient care.
As our Lead RDA, you will play a key role in supporting clinical excellence, team development, inventory management, and operational efficiency while helping create an exceptional experience for both patients and team members.
Schedule
- Monday to Friday: 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM
- Occasional Saturdays as required
- When scheduled on a Saturday, the preceding Friday will be provided off
What You'll Do
- Provide chairside support alongside our clinical team
- Mentor, coach, and support RDAs and sterilization staff
- Assist with onboarding, training, and clinical calibration
- Oversee inventory management, purchasing, and supply organization
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships
- Monitor inventory levels, ordering processes, and cost-control initiatives
- Support clinical workflow efficiencies and operational excellence
- Collaborate closely with doctors and leadership to maintain high standards of patient care
What We're Looking For
- Registered Dental Assistant (RDAII) in good standing with the CADA
- 5+ years of clinical dental assisting experience
- Previous Lead RDA, Clinical Lead, or supervisory experience preferred
- Experience with Open Dental software
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience with inventory management, purchasing, and vendor relationships is considered a strong asset
- A positive, solutions-focused mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
