What We’re Looking For:
- RN Registry with NSCN: Must be active on the Nova Scotia College of Nursing (NSCN) Registry without any conditions.
- Experience: minimum 5 years preferred. Experience with IWK will be a big bonus
- Skills & Attitude: Strong communication skills, a positive outlook, and the ability to work independently.
- Flexibility & Reliability: Committed to providing compassionate, dependable care.
- Paediatric experience
- Experience with an oxygen machine
- Driver's license and car
- Eligibility: Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
- Additional Qualifications (preferred but not mandatory):
Current CPR certification.
Recent Criminal Record Check & Vulnerable Sector Check.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver a wide range of care services, including medication administration, wound care, and health monitoring.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and family members to ensure quality care.
- Provide compassionate support to clients in-home care and long-term care settings.
