Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled 3rd Year Apprentice Electrician to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals progressing through their electrical apprenticeship to gain hands-on experience in industrial electrical systems. Duties
- Assist licensed electricians in installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems according to project specifications and safety standards.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate wiring and component placement.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and low voltage testing equipment to perform electrical work efficiently and safely.
- Support the setup and disassembly of electrical components during construction or maintenance projects.
- Help identify electrical issues by inspecting wiring, connections, and equipment for faults or hazards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on schedule while ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.
Skills
- Previous experience as a residential electrician or in electrical construction is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and low voltage testing devices.
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings accurately.
- Basic understanding of low voltage systems and electrical codes relevant to industrial settings.
- Construction experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with job site safety and procedures.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
