Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pizza Cook to join our vibrant restaurant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing delicious pizzas and other menu items, ensuring food quality and safety standards are met. Duties
- Prepare pizza dough, toppings, and sauces according to established recipes and standards
- Cook pizzas and other food items using various kitchen equipment, ensuring proper cooking times and temperatures
- Serve customers at the counter or through the drive-thru with friendly and efficient service
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, assembling ingredients, and maintaining cleanliness of workstations
- Maintain inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management of shortages or issues
- Ensure the kitchen area is clean, organized, and compliant with health regulations at all times
Experience
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety standards is advantageous
- Experience with serving customers and handling food in a fast-paced setting is a plus
- Familiarity with the food industry and meal preparation processes will help ensure smooth operation during shifts
