Buon Gusto is a busy, authentic Italian restaurant in the heart of downtown Guelph. We pride ourselves on warm hospitality, exceptional food, and creating memorable dining experiences. We're looking for an enthusiastic, professional, and guest focused Server to join our front-of-house team.
About the Role
As a Server, you'll play a key role in delivering an outstanding dining experience. You'll guide guests through our menu, provide attentive and personalized service, and work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house team to ensure every guest leaves satisfied.
Responsibilities
- Provide warm, friendly, and attentive service throughout the dining experience
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
- Demonstrate knowledge of the menu, daily features, wine, beer, and cocktails
- Make thoughtful recommendations based on guests' preferences
- Deliver food and beverages promptly while ensuring quality and presentation
- Monitor tables, anticipate guest needs, and provide exceptional hospitality
- Process payments accurately using the POS system
- Maintain a clean and organized section, including setting and clearing tables as needed
- Collaborate with hosts, bartenders, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth service
- Follow all food safety, Smart Serve, and restaurant policies
