'Trailer Mechanic' position is vital to maintaining our fleet of trailers and heavy equipment, ensuring safety and efficiency in our logistics operations. Located in Spruce Grove , this role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute directly to our commitment to dependable service.
Responsibilities
- Inspect and diagnose trailer and heavy equipment issues using schematics and mechanical knowledge.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on heavy haul and non heavy haul trailers.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all repairs meet safety standards.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities.
- Assist in the installation of new equipment and upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Qualifications
- Proven dealership or mechanic experience with heavy machinery.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts.
- Experience with welding, electrical systems, and schematics is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills for customer service interactions.
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely.
- Relevant certifications or licenses are a plus.
