Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable and knowledgeable construction worker. This role involves assisting with various construction and renovation projects, ensuring safety standards are maintained, and contributing to the successful completion of building and infrastructure developments. Duties
- Assist with the preparation and cleanup of construction sites, including loading and unloading materials
- Operate heavy equipment such as kabota and backhoe (training provided if needed)
- Perform framing, drywall, eavestrough, soffit, facia, installing metal roofs, renos
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a secure work environment for all team members
- Support skilled tradespeople with tasks such as measuring, cutting, and assembling materials
- Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Skills
- Basic understanding of construction processes and safety procedures
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods
- Punctuality and reliable attendance is a must
- Strong teamwork skills and good communication abilities
- Willingness to learn new skills related to construction projects and equipment operation.
