- Certified educators only.
- 1-on-1 work, engagement, and supervision for a child with special needs.
- Work separately and in group with the rest of class.
- Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs and taking children to local points of interest, provide opportunities to express creativity through the media of art, dramatic play, music and physical activity
- Assess the abilities, interests and needs of children and discuss progress or challenges with parents and other staff members
- Responsible for ensuring that all relevant legislative requirements are met with 100% compliance
- Engage with child to help with stress, conflict, emotions and to ensure smooth transitions for the child and the rest of the classroom.
- Perform scheduled clean up.
- Performs other related assignments as required
