Overview

Duties
- Install, align, dismantle, and repair industrial machinery and equipment using precision tools and techniques.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to identify issues quickly and implement effective solutions.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and control diagrams to facilitate maintenance and repairs.
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery using analysis skills to predict failures before they occur, minimizing downtime.
- Perform welding, HVAC maintenance, boiler servicing, and low voltage electrical work as needed to support plant operations.
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to document maintenance activities, track parts inventory, and schedule preventative maintenance.
- Collaborate with industrial electricians and other specialists to ensure compliance with safety standards and technical specifications.
- Support manufacturing teams by providing exceptional customer service through timely repairs that keep production running smoothly.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in industrial maintenance within manufacturing settings.
- Proficiency in working with schematics, technical manuals, and control systems involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Electrical experience with low voltage systems and industrial electrician skills for troubleshooting electrical components.
- Hands-on welding skills along with HVAC system maintenance expertise.
- Knowledge of boiler operation and maintenance procedures.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance management.
- Excellent analysis skills for diagnosing complex machinery issues efficiently.
- Effective communication skills in English to collaborate across teams and document work clearly.
