Job Description:
Phillips Bay Resort is seeking a dependable and hardworking Seasonal Resort Maintenance & Guest Services Associate to join our team for the upcoming season.
Located on beautiful Big Basswood Lake, our resort offers a unique experience for guests, and we take pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes initiative, and is comfortable handling a variety of tasks in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general maintenance and repairs across resort properties and cabins
- Lawn care and groundskeeping (cutting grass, trimming, debris removal)
- Cleaning and preparing cabins between guest stays
- Assisting with dock maintenance, waterfront upkeep, and basic landscaping
- Supporting guest needs and responding to service requests in a professional manner
- Assisting with garbage removal and site cleanliness
- Monitoring for safety issues and reporting concerns promptly
- Other duties as required
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in maintenance, construction, landscaping, or property management is an asset
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of tools and general repairs
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks

Pay: $19.00-$24.00 per hour
