Responsibilities
- Set up and replenish breakfast buffet stations with fresh food items, beverages, and condiments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Prepare simple breakfast foods such as fruits, pastries, cereals, and hot items following food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, counters, and equipment through regular cleaning and sanitizing.
- Assist guests with food selections, answer questions about menu items, and provide friendly customer service to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Manage food handling procedures in accordance with health regulations to ensure safety and quality.
- Support with bussing tables, refilling supplies, Inventory Handling and ensuring the breakfast area remains organized and inviting throughout service hours.
Experience
Ideal candidates will have prior experience in food service or hospitality environments such as restaurants, catering events, or hotel buffets. Experience with food preparation, cleaning routines, and customer interaction is highly valued. Previous roles involving banquet service, serving guests at events or hotels, or working as a host/hostess will be considered strong assets. Excellent communication skills, a positive attitude towards guest relations, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting are essential for success in this energetic role.
