Position Summary:
The Mobile Security Guard is responsible for providing 24 hours availability for mobile and foot patrol services to assigned sites in the Northumberland County area. This position requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and sound judgment. Duties include conducting patrols, completing site inspections, preparing detailed documentation, and interacting respectfully with members of the public, including un-homed and vulnerable individuals. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to accountability, ethical conduct, and ongoing professional development.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct scheduled mobile vehicle patrols and foot patrols of assigned properties
- Perform site inspections to identify safety, security, and operational concerns
- Monitor premises for potential risks and respond in accordance with established procedures
- Accurately document all activities, observations, and incidents throughout the shift
- Prepare clear, concise, and detailed incident and occurrence reports
- Interact professionally and respectfully with un-homed and vulnerable persons
- Apply approved de-escalation techniques when managing conflict or challenging situations
- Maintain effective communication with dispatch, supervisors, and clients
Qualifications and Requirements
- Valid G Driver’s License with a clear driver abstract (mandatory)
- Ability to work full-time all shifts overnight, afternoon and days
- Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multitask in a dynamic environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven reliability, professionalism, and sound decision-making

Compensation and Benefits:
- Hourly Wage: $19.00-21.00 per hour, based on experience and training
