Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms, public areas, and other designated spaces. This role is essential in providing a welcoming and comfortable environment for our guests and visitors. Prior experience in cleaning, hospitality, or custodial services is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated individuals. The position offers an opportunity to work in a professional setting with a focus on quality service and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to established standards
- Change linens, make beds, and replenish supplies such as toiletries and towels
- Vacuum, sweep, mop floors, dust surfaces, and clean windows as needed
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to management
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and discretion when handling guest belongings
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all staff
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality environments is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting
- Good communication skills and a friendly attitude towards guests and team members
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus
- Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
