Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring prompt and correct processing
- Serve food and drinks efficiently, maintaining high standards of food handling and sanitation
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and cash handling procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area, kitchen, and service stations in compliance with food safety regulations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, supporting overall restaurant operations
- Manage guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure a positive dining experience and foster guest loyalty
Qualifications
- Previous food service or restaurant experience is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with serving protocols and food industry standards
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous for efficient order processing
- Strong time management skills to handle busy service periods effectively
- Experience in food handling, sanitation, and food safety practices to ensure guest safety and compliance with health regulations
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and order calculations
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach to guest interactions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism
- Kitchen or hospitality experience is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential
