Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Spray Foam Installer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing spray foam insulation in residential and commercial buildings, ensuring energy efficiency and proper application. This role requires attention to detail, safety awareness, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Duties
- Prepare work areas by cleaning and setting up necessary equipment and materials
- Apply spray foam insulation accurately according to project specifications and blueprints
- Use caulking and hand tools to seal gaps and ensure proper insulation coverage
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine installation requirements
- Operate construction tools safely and efficiently during installation processes
- Inspect completed work for quality assurance and adherence to safety standards
- Maintain a clean work environment, including proper disposal of waste materials
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Qualifications
- Prior experience with caulking, hand tools, or construction preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings is a plus
- Knowledge of spray foam insulation techniques is desirable but not required; training will be provided
- Strong attention to detail and safety procedures
- Good physical stamina, with the ability to lift materials and work in various environmental conditions
- Reliable work ethic with a focus on quality workmanship
- <PERSON> experience or background is considered an asset but not mandatory
