Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server that is 19 + to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, including Micros POS if available
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Handle cash and process payments accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times.
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations throughout shifts
- Provide guest services that exceed expectations, addressing any concerns professionally
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with knowledge of the food industry standards
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for order entry and payment processing
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and hospitality excellence
- Ability to handle food safely and adhere to sanitation guidelines
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, billing, and change calculation
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting
- Experience with food handling, serving, and food safety protocols
- Excellent communication skills for guest interactions and teamwork
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and restaurant revenue
