Job Title: Skilled Laborer
Location: Depends on the project (Mainly in Vancouver, Richmond, Burnaby, Surrey)
Job Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and finish drywall (including taping and mudding)
- Lay and install various types of flooring (vinyl, laminate, tile, etc.)
- Perform interior and exterior painting
- Assist with general construction tasks and site prep
- Maintain clean and safe work environments
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and other trades
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in construction or renovation
- Valid class 5 driver license and own vehicle
- Own basic hand tools is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Communicate effectively in English with clients, mangers, and team members.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work on ladders
Preferred but Not Required:
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications
- Knowledge of building codes and safety standards
- Mandarin is an asset
