Jago Services is a family owned and operated plumbing company in Cambridge Bay, NU. We have been serving our community for over 30 years. We are looking for a Journeyperson Plumber to join our team.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair plumbing issues, including clogged drains, leaky faucets, leaky water heaters, toilets, sinks and showers, as well as miscellaneous household issues such as leaks and leaks in pipes, water lines, gas lines and gas lines.
- Install new pipes and fixtures with precision using hand tools and power tools.
- Repair plumbing by replacing old pipes with new ones, repairing faucets, sinks, showerheads, toilets, and other fixtures.
- Repairing appliances such as refrigerators, microwaves, dishwashers and range hoods are also included in this position.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or owner.
Skills
Proven experience as a plumber
- Experience with plumbing systems and fixtures is preferred but not required. We will train the right person with the right skills!
- Good understanding of basic electrical wiring and electrical components
- Ability to read blueprints and understand basic math calculations (volume, cost etc.)
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Good physical condition and strength (lifting up to 50 lbs., kneeling for long periods of time, crawling etc.)
- High school diploma or equivalent; Successful completion of a vocational training program is preferred but not required. We will train the right person with the right skills!
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $38.00-$42.00 per hour
