Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to standardized recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Ensure all food is handled safely and stored properly in compliance with food safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
- Serve food efficiently to ensure timely delivery to customers
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to prevent cross-contamination and ensure a safe working environment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred, especially in a kitchen environment
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food handling procedures
- Familiarity with food safety standards and sanitation practices
- Experience with meal preparation and serving in a fast-paced setting is advantageous
- Strong understanding of the food industry standards for quality, presentation, and safety
