Fulltime Journeyman/Journeywoman or Apprentice Millwright Needed!!
Big West Machine & Welding Ltd. is an established general machine and welding shop located in Drayton Valley, Alberta.
The successful applicant would have experience in repairing hydraulic cylinders and pumps as well as working in a plant with conveyors and motor alignments and setting bearings. Basic set of hand tools is required as well as being able to work on site on plant shutdowns.
Education, Skills & Experience:
- Must have journeyman millwright certificate or be currently enrolled in an apprenticeship training program second or third year.
- Must be able to read and understand blueprints and follow verbal instructions.
- Must have a class 5 license
- Experience with preventative maintenance and repair of equipment an asset
- Ability to effectively manage time and meet all specified deadlines
- Must be willing to work under supervision
Big West Machine & Welding Ltd. offers a comprehensive benefit package and competitive salary. Guaranteed 40 hours a week, and overtime after 8 hours. Occasionally work on site but you're home every night. We understand the work life balance and work with you when booking your holidays.
