About the Role
We’re seeking dedicated, knowledgeable, and caring tutors to support K–12 students through one-on-one, in-home tutoring sessions across Calgary and surrounding towns (Airdrie, Cochrane, Okotoks, Chestermere, and Strathmore).
Whether helping with homework, exam preparation, or building academic confidence, you will be making a real impact in students’ lives.
Responsibilities
- Provide in-home tutoring to students in your area
- Support students in core subjects: English, Math, Science, and Social Studies (K–12)
- Support students studying curricula in English, French, and Spanish
- Mentor students and foster a positive attitude toward learning
- Commit to a consistent weekly schedule (minimum 4+ hours/week)
Qualifications
- Able to commit for the 2026-2027 academic year (next academic year).
- Strong knowledge in one or more K–12 subjects
- Prior tutoring or teaching experience is an asset
- Reliable transportation is required!
- Criminal background check required!

Compensation
Competitive hourly rates based on subject, experience, education, and specialization — positioned above the typical tutoring pay range in Calgary.
In-Person Tutoring:
- $24/hour – Undergraduate tutors
- $26/hour – French/Spanish/Post-Secondary/Specialized programs
Online Tutoring:
- $21/hour – Undergraduate tutors
- $23/hour – French/Spanish/Post-Secondary
Additional:
- +$2/hour for tutors holding a bachelor’s degree (applies to in-person base rate)
