Responsibilities
Tasks
· Overseeing corporate infrastructure projects and funding applications
· Coordinate HR activities in order to ensure they meet the organization’s goals
· Plan, develop, implement and evaluate human resources policies, procedures and programs
· Review HR projects to assure compliance with laws and regulations
· Advise managers and employees on the interpretation of human resources policies, benefit programs, staff development strategies and collective agreements
· Administer staff consultation and grievance procedures
· Co-ordinate employee performance and appraisal programs
· Plan, develop and implement recruitment strategies
· Hire, supervise, and train or oversee training of employees and co-op students
· Setup and oversee the IT infrastructure
· Overall responsibility for corporate insurance
