About Us
Lean Strong Fitness & Wellness is on Beverley St. near downtown Guelph. The owner, Benjamin Pickard (B.Sc. Kin, CSCS), founded Lean Strong in 2014 and has been in the industry for over 10 years. He was heavily influenced by the likes of Dan John, Precision Nutrition, Jon Goodman, Eric Cressey, Tony Gentilcore, Dave Tate and EliteFTS, Jim Wendler, Mike Boyle, Gray Cook, Stu McGill and more.
Lean Strong is a personal training gym for those who don’t like regular gyms. We help people 50+ reach their health and lifestyle goals through individual exercise programs, nutrition and habit coaching, and guiding them every step of the way. Our goal is to help people reach their goals permanently, meaning we want to make ourselves obsolete by helping them build the right kind of skills and habits to achieve results that they can sustain independently for life. Our model is almost exclusively semi-private training, with a bit of 1:1 and online coaching. We focus on ‘functional’ training, and the 3600 sq ft studio is all free weights, kettlebells, racks, and bars. Learn more at LSFit.ca
