Millwright Supervisor — Industrial Field Contractor
Full-time · Multi-site field work · Journeyperson certification required
We're an industrial contractor looking for an experienced Millwright supervisor who knows how to run a crew on a live jobsite. You'll move between projects — shutdowns, new installations, and field service — and be the person clients trust and your crew relies on to get the work done right and on time.
What you'll own
Lead and supervise field crews — direct tradespeople and apprentices across active jobsites, manage daily work plans, coordinate with other trades, and keep the job moving.
Hands-on mechanical work — install, commission, troubleshoot, and service industrial equipment including motors, drives, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, and hydraulic systems.
Deliver on shutdowns and installations — execute planned outages and greenfield/brownfield installations on schedule and to spec; no two jobs are the same.
Client-facing accountability — represent our company professionally on client sites, communicate progress and issues clearly, and protect the relationship.
Own site safety — lead tailgate meetings, enforce safe work practices, and ensure your crew meets all site-specific and regulatory requirements every day.
What you bring
- Journeyperson Millwright (Industrial Mechanic) certification
- Field supervision experience
- Shutdown & turnaround experience
- Machinery alignment
- Hydraulic & pneumatic systems
- Drives & mechanical diagnostics
- Multi-trade coordination
- Client site safety compliance
