Moberly Lodge is a classic Canadian mountain retreat hand-built from massive timbers and set between the Purcell and Rocky Mountain ranges outside Golden, British Columbia — minutes from six national parks, and a long way from ordinary.
We're hiring a Facilities & Environmental Operations Assistant for summer 2026 under the Canada Summer Jobs program.
You'll keep the property in the condition our guests expect when they arrive — lodge and cabin maintenance, grounds care, firewood supply, waste and recycling management, guest services, and everything in between. This is a hands-on, outdoor role with real variety. The quality of your work is visible every single day.
You'll work independently, manage your own tasks across the property, and report directly to the owner. Prior experience with property maintenance, grounds work, or manual labour is an asset. Physical fitness and comfort working outdoors in variable mountain weather are essential.
Staff accommodation may be available for the right candidate. Discussed at offer stage.
This position is funded through Canada Summer Jobs. Applicants must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or protected person, and between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of employment.
To apply, email [email protected]. Tell us a bit about yourself, your background and your availability. Template cover letters won't make the shortlist.
Pay: $19.50-$22.50 per hour
Work Location: In person
