Our manufacturing client, experiencing significant growth, is seeking a driven and experienced
Director of Finance to lead their finance and accounting department. This is a critical role that will report directly to the owner/CEO and play a pivotal part in shaping the financial future of the company. Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a 5-10 person finance and accounting team.
Oversee financial oversight and reporting for all company entities.
Lead the monthly reporting process and present results to ownership.
Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive budgeting and review processes, fostering strong relationships with department managers.
Manage capital assets and cash assets, including involvement with foreign exchange.
Collaborate with ownership and department managers to provide financial insights and contribute to strategic initiatives.
Contribute to the ongoing ERP reimplementation and amalgamation of entities.
Qualifications:
- CPA Required
- Approximately 10 years of experience in finance, with strong project cost accounting experience.
Essential background in manufacturing or construction.
Proven ability to lead monthly reporting and present financial results to stakeholders.
Experience in developing and implementing budgeting processes.
Familiarity with capital asset management and cash asset management, including foreign exchange hedging.
Excellent communication and business partnering skills to interact effectively with ownership and department managers.
Proficiency with ERP systems and experience leading system upgrades and implementations.
Ability to work in the office 5 days a week.
