Position Overview
We are looking for a responsible, hardworking, and positive individual to join our team as an Event Set-Up Crew Member & Driver — Part-Time Weekends.
This is a hands-on field position involving the complete rental process—from preparing and loading orders to driving, towing, delivering and professionally installing equipment ranging from backyard inflatables to large-scale event attractions, followed by safe dismantling, return, cleaning and storage at our warehouse.
Schedule
- Part-time, weekend work.
- Shifts may include early mornings, daytime hours, evenings and holidays.
- Hours and shift lengths vary based on event bookings.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare, load and secure rental equipment for delivery.
- Safely drive company trucks and tow trailers to event locations.
- Safely install and dismantle inflatables, games and large-scale event attractions.
- Confirm that all equipment is installed safely and according to company standards.
- Communicate professionally with customers and event contacts.
- Retrieve equipment following events and return it to the warehouse.
- Clean, inspect and organize equipment between rentals.
- Perform basic equipment and vehicle inspections.
- Remain onsite to supervise equipment when required.
- Follow company driving, installation and workplace safety procedures.
What You’ll Bring
- Fluent spoken English is a mandatory requirement. Team Members must be able to clearly understand instructions and communicate professionally with customers, coworkers and event-site contacts.
- A valid Ontario G driver’s licence and a clean driving record.
- Experience driving a pickup truck and towing a 16-foot trailer.
- The physical ability to repeatedly lift, carry and move equipment weighing 50 lbs or more.
- Comfort working outdoors in different weather conditions.
- Availability to work weekend shifts
- Strong reliability, punctuality and attention to detail.
- The ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a crew.
