Overview
Goose Mechanical is actively seeking a Foreman to add to our expanding team of dedicated tradespeople. The Ideal candidate will have experience on commercial jobsites both small and large and be willing to take the lead on the site management duties on 1 or more projects. Experience in Mechanical Rooms is considered an asset but not mandatory.
Duties
- Manage Jobsites both large and Small
- Coordinate both plumbing and hydronics install
- Manage and Work along side other Journeyman and apprentices
- Facilitate site coordination with General Contractors
- Identify scope gaps and coordinate with Project Managers on RFI's, Change orders etc.
- Manage the effective flow of material, tools, and equipment, alongside Project Managers.
- Maintain a solutions based positive mindset
Qualifications
- Journeyman Red Seal plumber and Gasfitter
- Up to date knowledge of current industry practices and standards
- Management experience is an asset.
- Proven experience on commercial sites managing small and large projects.
- Excellent Communication skills
- Attention to detail and organization,
- Strong Work Ethic
- Positive Attitude,
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $44.00-$50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 44.0 per week
