This is a multi-project role requiring both strong office-based planning skills and direct, hands-on construction field experience. Working under the guidance of a Project Manager, you must be capable of managing multiple construction sites simultaneously, all at completely different stages of development. You will take charge of preparing the scope of work, tendering, budget preparation and scheduling. From there, you will transition the project into active daily field operations while serving as a professional point of contact for our clients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Pre-Construction: Prepare detailed scopes of work, coordinate the tender process with sub-trades, and work with the project manager to assist building the budgets and schedules before construction begins.
- Budget & Financial Management: Actively track costs throughout construction phase to keep projects on financial target.
- Site Supervision: Supervise all personnel at the site level across multiple active jobsites.
- Schedule & Accountability: Build and maintain construction schedules while holding trades and suppliers accountable to project timelines.
- Operations & Coordination: Work with subcontractors and suppliers on planning, reading drawings, interpreting specifications, and coordinating material deliveries.
- Inspections: Coordinate required inspections with the appropriate cities and departments.
- Client Relations: Act as the primary on-site representative for clients, managing communication and project expectations throughout the build.
- Quality Control: Proactively address deficiencies, ensure trades rectify all deficiencies in a timely manner, and maintain Square One levels of quality and design intent.
- Safety & Compliance: Identify and address subcontractor non-compliance with health, safety, and environmental quality standards (WorkSafeBC).
- PM Partnership: Collaborate regularly with the overseeing Project Manager to review project health, budgets, and schedules for final approval.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Field Experience: 5+ years of direct, hands-on field experience in the construction industry (e.g., Site Superintendent, Construction Manager) Generic management experience outside of physical construction will not be considered.
- Multitasking: A proven track record of successfully managing multiple physical construction projects at the same time.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in drafting scopes of work, managing sub-trade tendering, and using construction project management software.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary: $100,000 – $150,000 per year (depending on experience)

Pay: $100,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
