Atlantica is looking to add a Security & Office Administrator to our team! This role will be based in our office in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. The administrator will primarily be responsible for managing security applications for our projects across the Maritimes. While also providing administrative support across all areas of the business.

The Security Coordinator must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Level II (Secret) clearance issued by the PSPC Contract Security Program.
- Completion of Administrative Professional Diploma
- 1-3 years’ experience in administrative role
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Proficiency in all areas of Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Self-motivated and excellent time management skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment and/or independently
- Desire to develop and learn Knowledge of the Controlled Goods Program would be considered an asset
What will you do as the Security & Office Administrator?
- Meet with employees to explain application requirements and support them through the process. Gather documents, fingerprints, and information to submit applications as needed.
- Act as main point of contact for external agencies to submit, follow up on, and audit applications for various types of security clearance (e.g. SRCL, VCR, TSC, RCMP, etc.)
- Maintain accurate records of clearance for personnel, including tracking expiration dates, employee leave dates, etc.
- Provide reports on security clearances as requested
- Ensure clearance is removed promptly if no longer needed
- Provide security clauses for subcontractors to Finance Team for purchase orders
- Support clothing ordering for field and corporate staff by obtaining samples from suppliers, receiving order forms from employees, reconciling received items against order slips
- Book spaces for corporate meetings or social committee events, arrange for catering, material printing, etc. as needed
- Prepare agenda for, and participate in JOHS Committee meetings
- Create fuel reports and provide them to directors every quarter • Support IT with implementation and training of Sharepoint for various departments
- Assist with folder management and the organization of internal company drive
- Other duties as required.
