Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Class 1 Truck and Quad Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating heavy-duty trucks and quad vehicles to transport loads efficiently across various locations. This role requires a strong focus on safety, vehicle maintenance, off road driving and timely deliveries to support our logistics operations. Work is located throughout Alberta and British Columbia. Some dedicated runs available.
Duties
- Safely operate Class 1 trucks and quad vehicles for freight transportation
- Load, unload, and secure load using appropriate equipment such as wheel loader when necessary
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
- Assist with heavy equipment operation and basic automotive repairs as needed
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch teams
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws during transportation activities
- Assist in warehouse operations including loading and unloading freight as required
Requirements
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for Class 1 vehicles
- Experience in commercial driving, heavy equipment operation, or related fields preferred
- First Aid, H2S and CSO tickets an asset.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other heavy machinery safely
- Knowledge of freight handling, automotive repair, and basic maintenance skills a plus
- Strong focus on safety, reliability, and punctuality in delivery schedules
- Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions
- Physical ability to lift heavy loads and perform manual tasks as needed
- Prior experience with automotive repair or heavy equipment maintenance is advantageous
Pay: $400.00-$600.00 per day
