Breadstack is an eCommerce SaaS platform built for cannabis retailers. We help stores increase online revenue, streamline operations, and deliver better customer experiences with integrated eCommerce, delivery, and loyalty tools.
We are scaling fast and need a sharp, disciplined BDR who can build pipeline, qualify leads, and support our Account Executives with consistent, high-quality sales activity. This is a high-ownership role with clear expectations, direct impact, and strong growth potential.
What You’ll Own
- Outbound prospecting for cannabis retailers across Canada and the US.
- High-volume outreach through email, phone, and social.
- Qualifying inbound leads from marketing, contact forms, events, and partner channels.
- Running discovery calls and identifying fit based on store count, tech stack, urgency, and online goals.
- Building clean, accurate pipeline inside HubSpot.
- Booking high-quality meetings for our AEs.
- Coordinating with Marketing on campaigns, events, and sequences.
- Logging insights to improve messaging, ICP targeting, and market positioning.

- Consistent weekly activity benchmarks.
- SQLs that convert to real opportunities.
- Clean data hygiene.
- Predictable flow of meetings into the AE pipeline.
- Strong understanding of cannabis retail pain points and how Breadstack solves them.
- Zero fluff. High accountability. Clear communication.
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years BDR or SDR experience in B2B SaaS.
- Strong phone presence and objection-handling skills.
- Comfortable in a fast-moving, founder-led environment.
- Process-driven, organized, and disciplined with follow-ups.
- Experience using HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and outbound sequences.
- Understands SaaS metrics like ACV, MRR, CAC payback, and pipeline coverage.
- Bonus: Experience selling into cannabis retail or adjacent regulated industries.

Pay & Benefits
- The starting salary for this role is $85,000 CAD OTE ($60,000 base + $25,000 incentive and uncapped commission).
