Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to maintain cleanliness and safety across our facilities. This role is essential in ensuring a clean, sanitary, and welcoming environment for employees, clients, and visitors. The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning and facilities maintenance, with a strong focus on attention to detail and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal in various areas of the facility
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, hallways, offices, and common areas
- Conduct deep cleaning and sanitation as needed to uphold health standards
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper in designated areas
- Perform minor maintenance tasks or report issues related to facility upkeep
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored after use
- Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals responsibly to prevent accidents or hazards
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning or facilities maintenance preferred
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and safety protocols
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, or floor scrubbers is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and performing repetitive tasks throughout the shift
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and punctuality
