Our client, in the Pharmalogistics industry is seeking an Senior Logistics Operations Supervisor to join their team. The ideal candidate will have Supervisory experience, experience in Food and Pharma and excellent communication and leadership skills, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Senior Logistics Operations Supervisor
Location: Mississauga, ON
Shift: Monday to Friday: 8:30am to 5:00pm
Pay Range: $70,000-$85,000/annually (based on experience and qualifications)
What’s the Job?
- Plan, organize, and adjust daily delivery and pickup routes based on volumes, priorities, and operational constraints.
- Assign drivers to routes and loads, ensuring optimal use of resources.
- Book and confirm same-day and next-day delivery appointments.
- Ensure drivers leave on time with complete and accurate route information.
- Monitor deliveries in real time to maintain strong on-time performance.
- Plan and coordinate interprovincial deliveries, including inventory verification and shipment planning.
- Perform Driver Audits and carrier check.
- Communicate with customers regarding delivery schedules, delays, operational adjustments, and new service requests.
- Other duties as assigned
What’s Needed?
- Proven experience in dispatch, transportation supervision, or operational roles.
- Strong understanding of local and interprovincial transportation operations.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, operational environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and practical decision-making ability.
- Clear and effective communication skills.
- Preferred experience in Food or Pharma
- Comfortable working with systems, tracking tools, and operational cost data.
