Toronto's multiple-award winning and industry-recognized design-build firm seeking Carpenter Helpers/Assistants that will work along our Lead Carpenters. We are looking for individuals that want to grow in this industry and be a part of our highly skilled team in the GTA!
Assistant Carpenter duties/responsibilities:
- assist the Lead Carpenter on project sites from start to completion with carpentry work (framing walls, ceilings, millwork, trim, demo, etc...)
- maintains the safety rules and a clean and organized work site
Other Requirements:
- positive and professional attitude on site
- some experience (1 year) in carpentry or construction work preferred
- have a reliable vehicle and basic hand tools
- can register as a subcontractor with own GST/HST# (independent operator)
- valid WHMIS and Working at Heights training certificates
Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Permanent
Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
