Joyful Adventure Child Care is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Licensed ECE / IT (Infant Toddler) Educator to join our team as a full-time Childcare Teacher. Joyful Adventure Child Care is a licensed childcare facility located in Burnaby, BC. We provide a warm, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young learners. We are looking for passionate, reliable, and dedicated Early Childhood Educators to join our team.
[Salary & Benefits]
- Hours: 40 hours/week (Permanent, Full-Time)
- Benefits: 5 paid sick days per calendar year (available after 90 days of employment).
[Key Responsibilities]
- Plan and implement child-centered programs, maintain accurate documentation, and foster positive communication with families.
- Ensure the safety, health, and well-being of all children through strict adherence to licensing standards and supervision guidelines.
- Provide quality care and engage with children during daily routines and creative activities.
- Maintain open, respectful, and professional communication with parents, colleagues, and management.
- Help keep the facility clean, organized, and compliant with all health and safety regulations.
[Qualifications & Requirements]
- Valid BC ECE-IT Certification is required. (Note: ECE Assistant certifications are not accepted for these roles).
- Valid First Aid & CPR Certification.
- Clear Criminal Record Check (BC CRRP).
- Excellent communication, teamwork skills, patience, and empathy.
- Prior experience in a licensed childcare setting is highly preferred.
